I'm "the girl next door" and I married the boy next door, too. I take girls trips with various groups of friends almost every month...sometimes twice a month...these trips usually turn into "Masterminds" because I can't help but talk business. I have an entrepreneur soul that can't be paused. My hair is 50 shades of pink all year because it matches my fierce, feminine, and crazy artist soul.
I grew up an intense competitive musician. I had a late start but the discipline I mastered in those eight years was a bit inhuman. With time, the vision of the best possible outcome for a career as a classical bassoonist became less meaningful. I left music & spent seven long years working part time with the U.S. Army. (Deployed to Honduras & Guatemala) My artistic soul stirred and pulled until I could be aligned with my career as a Wedding & Portrait Photographer, but it happened! Picking up a clarinet was the butterfly's wing that knew I would find myself here in the end. A little more "Hollywood Artist" shines through every shoot and I'm beginning to understand where the stereotype for crazy artists come from. I see things no one else does ("This light needs a -2 magenta, + 0.08 exposure. a +3 Dehaze, and we'll have to see about those reds later. For Gods Sake turn ALL the lights OFF!" I'll start from scratch with my own lights.) Even I have to roll my eyes sometimes...
This man has been the most constant, strong, and supportive person in my life. I can definitely be a "people pleaser" but in the end, it's all about making this guy proud and happy. I couldn't be more blessed to call him mine and me his. If you hire a second shooter for your wedding with SJP, he will likely be by my side running errands and getting the most gorgeous big wide shots of your day. He's also a pro at all things men's formal wear! (Seriously though. 10+ ways to tie a tie in this genius noggin'.)

We make time for us through the chaos, love to hike, mine cryptocurrency, dream of our life in an A-Frame in the woods, pretend to be real shoppers at Cartier, and never miss a night of Bachelor...we really get into it together. I couldn't be more blessed to call him mine and me his. If you hire a second shooter for your wedding, he will likely be the one running errands and getting the most gorgeous big wide shots of your day while I'm zoomed in close. If there are money questions, he'll be by my side on our Facetime call. He's our book keeper and knows every in and out of this company. He's also a pro at all things men's formal wear! It's not just about the coffee. It's about the ritual. The scooping, pouring, stirring, pausing, smelling,
Clynn and I haven't bought cow milk at the grocery store in over seven years. I've maybe had a sip once a year. It just doesn't seem right for us.
Whenever I talk about "getting my act together" emotionally, spiritually, physically, it always comes back to this. ♥ Hot Yoga Inc. is my church.
Chest hurts, face hurts, --JUST NO. I'm tough...except when it comes to the cold. I own more hoodies than anyone you know.
We live a pretty active lifestyle so on-the-go food is a must or we end up in the drive through waaay too much! My fave? gomacro peanut butter chocolate chip. Fast Food? Jamba or Starbucks.
Least. Favorite. Chore.
Clynn and I hate doing dishes. It's a constant battle. Anyone want to be our dishes specific cleaning lady/dude?
Follow along even a week and you'll see my Copper Ember Mug make several appearances...it's probably in my background photo here. I don't even travel without it. Coffee at 132° F
I've been an obsessive label reader on everything since I had a 4 month run of veganism in 2014! I prefer to know what I'm putting on and in my body.
This is where I buy 95% of all the clothes I own. I find myself on their site a few times a week. Code "jaclynnw15" for 15% off and to help support my hoodie addiction.
I find myself here every once in a while but am so not a fan. We prefer to do all of our shopping online (to include groceries!!!)
