Busy September

It’s a Busy September!!! I have so much shooting to do this month but one of my biggest goals is to get this blog fired up.

This weekend we have a full wedding, our first engagement session out at Sheep Lake, and an elopement that will make your jaw drop! I can’t wait to share and get caught up along the way.

Blogs coming up this week: Jordain & Andy maternity Session, Mia’s Senior Session, Boat elopement, Daddy-Daughter Wedding Style Celebration of Love, and a couple personal blog posts from this summer’s adventures with the boys.

How I feel about it being September:

Leaving summer is always hard for me. It gets harder every year because every summer is more fun than the one before. Sunlight is a nutrient I crave so I don’t know if we’ll live in the Seattle area forever. haha

On the up side, September has always been my busiest shooting month! I’m hoping to debunk that with a random off-season month late 2019 or early 2020, but we’ll see what we can pull!

I’ve been picking up new hobbies/reading and trying to fill my calendar to keep myself up and moving through the winter months. Definitely hoping to get back into the hot yoga studio this winter!

This blog post is mostly to force myself to write and get something up! A post to remind myself how easy and beneficial these posts are for the website!

I’m working on getting a wedding and engagement session off to my editors this evening so I’ll have some new work to share soon.

THANK YOU to every one who interacted on posts last month! This month will surly be an eventful one!

I’m going to wrap up my work and head home to watch Bachelor In Paradise with Clynn per our usual Tuesday evening event/guilty pleasure.

If you’re a new or upcoming bride reading this I can’t wait to work with you! Always feel free to reach out even just to say hi!

Clynn and I will be seeing many of you soon!

Much love, Jaclynn

Agh I can’t wait to see your upcoming work! I feel like I’ve seen you get more and more clients since we first met when I was pregnant!
As always, I love seeing your work, it’s really inspiring- so much so that I’d love to get into photography myself, as another hobby for fun.
Keep up the amazing work Jaclynn!

I keep trying to get to blogging everyone more! There are so so many weddings and sessions I haven’t blogged yet. Hopefully when we have more childcare and dependable work hours I can get myself into more of a blogging flow starting next week!! I’m so happy you and Gary found me so early in my career. It’s been awesome having you along for the milestones! ♥ I’d love to see you getting into photography more, it’s so fun!

THE LATEST

Hi! How are you? Thinking of lots of my clients lately and hoping you’re doing well no matter where life has taken you! I’ve been laying low. Loving on my kiddos, friends, sisters, and partners. They’re all taking great care of me, too! Working my booty offf. Trying to eat healthy and navigate adulting more […]

The in between

Life has been very romantic lately. Unknown and confusing and both flighty and grounded all at once. I remember being 14 and seeing my entire life by your side. Life is wild. I remember a water bottle and abandoned bleachers. I remember axe body spray and the way I had never been kissed. I know […]

Nirvana & I think of you

I hope you know better than to think I’d want to be anywhere but here right now. It was true on NYE and it’s true right now in my car outside the café. This may have felt seamless. Too seamless. Happenstance. But I’m here on purpose, now. I see your soft heart and I see […]

I hope you know better

You’ll walk through a glittering white veil, uncharacteristically soft compared to what you’ll find behind it. It has no need to keep you out. You quickly realize it’s the aura within that turns most around. The texture disorients. I’ll already be inside. What do you see? Upon first impression, you’re in a desert. Interesting considering […]
