After sending Sam the studio’s “engagement session location recommendations” list, we had many email exchanges trying to nail down the perfect spot! I am so so happy we decided to be picky because it resulted in a meaningful location we all loved!

Zeke proposed to Sam in Leavenworth! When I told her I was headed that direction for a wedding, she knew it was the perfect destination for their portraits.

Bride Tip: Avoid travel fees for awesome engagement session locations by asking me where I’m traveling for weddings that year! If I’m going to be somewhere for a wedding anyway, we might be able to fit in an engagement session around another couple’s wedding!

Sam & Zeke have a love story similar to Clynn and mine, from what I could gather in our couple hours together! ♥ I am so excited Clynn and I will be photographing their Fall wedding together. I’m sure we’ll relate to the toasts. They’ve been together so long now, everyone is ready for this wedding!

We started at a beautiful look out off a Leavenworth road and finished at Lake Wenatchee State Park right as the sun was setting.

A special thank you to Zeke who called me out on slacking on the Print Lab. I launched the print lab in a thriving economy just one month before all the crazy began. I definitely fed into the excuses. Covid doesn’t need to define my ability to sell prints. My photography isn’t PERFECT, and I still sell that just fine. From one entrepreneur to another, I needed some tough love! I don’t know if he did it on purpose, but Zeke left me with allot to think about in the way I talk about what I do. I have a feeling he helps allot of people like this. Thanks so much, Zeke. I’ll re-pitch the print lab post wedding. 😉

Thank you, Sam & Zeke, for adventuring with me for your engagement photos!!! It was so fun getting to know you two before the wedding. Wishing you an epic last summer before you’re husband and wife!
