Point Defiance Engagement Photos | Lizzy & Robert

I was so excited to meet up with Elizabeth and Robert for their summer engagement portraits at Point Defiance in Tacoma! They are planning a winter New Year wedding. Robert is an employee of one of my previous grooms, Gary! They are family friends and I love when my couples and I have a mutual connection in common.

Both Lizzy and Robert work at the same childcare center! Elizabeth works with the children and Robert makes sure their outdoor play area is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Together they ran Cross Country in High school. Point Defiance is a location their coach would bring them to run often. They are familiar with the hills and trails and were excited to be back in a place that held so much memory for their engagement portraits! I love recommending beautiful locations for engagement portraits, but when a location holds sentimental value for my couples, I don’t care where it is. ♥ Luckily, this location was both beautiful AND sentimental!

I can’t wait to meet with them again for their 30 Day prior consult! Their energy is so calm and joyful. We laugh easy and I know Lizzy will be such a glowy bride! ♥

Enjoy scrolling through the endless variety of Point Defiance! We hit the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, and pond all in about an hour! THANK YOU Elizabeth & Robert for inviting me to be your wedding photographer! I am so happy to be working with you two.
