Rein Fire Ranch

Clynn and I are so excited to finally be sharing Rachel and Kyle’s early September 2019 wedding at Rein Fire Ranch in Ravensdale, Washington!

Rachel and her Mom, Susan, invited us to the Rein Fire Ranch open house a couple months before the wedding. Clynn and I were both able to make it. After the walk through, we agreed this location would quickly become one of our favorites for ceremonies.

The outdoor ceremony area is spacious, bright, amazingly kept and beautifully thought out. The cement walk ways and stage allow for clean white balance and true to life colors. The large arch leaves so much room for custom decor and unique-to-the-couple style.

When we told Rich and his husband George that this venue (their venue) was one of our favorites for ceremonies they thought we were just buttering them up, but it’s true!! Mine and Clynn’s favorite venue list is very unique from most vendors in the things we find EXTRA value in. This outdoor ceremony space gets FIVE STARS from our Studio.

The walk from the bridal suite to ceremony is long for the bridal party and bride. With the groom’s back to the bridal suite, he doesn’t see anything (as long as he doesn’t sneak a peek by turning around!) until the processional hits the isle.

Clynn and I agree, long isle walks are invaluable. So often, the isle is shorter than desired. This results in less isle walking timeless images, and a short lived moment that many brides dream of their entire lives. Let the isle be long and the memory have time to be created in a solid time frame.

Rachel and Kyle booked with the studio about a year before their big day! We’re so excited to finally share the first images of them as husband and wife and to begin designing their final heirloom album collection in October!

A very special thank you to Rachel, Kyle, Rich, George, and Susan. What a special and memorable day this was!

The in between

Life has been very romantic lately. Unknown and confusing and both flighty and grounded all at once. I remember being 14 and seeing my entire life by your side. Life is wild. I remember a water bottle and abandoned bleachers. I remember axe body spray and the way I had never been kissed. I know […]

Nirvana & I think of you

I hope you know better than to think I’d want to be anywhere but here right now. It was true on NYE and it’s true right now in my car outside the café. This may have felt seamless. Too seamless. Happenstance. But I’m here on purpose, now. I see your soft heart and I see […]

I hope you know better

You’ll walk through a glittering white veil, uncharacteristically soft compared to what you’ll find behind it. It has no need to keep you out. You quickly realize it’s the aura within that turns most around. The texture disorients. I’ll already be inside. What do you see? Upon first impression, you’re in a desert. Interesting considering […]
