Seattle Marriott Waterfront

This wedding at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront was such a party! I’m pretty sure the entire event was DANCING!!! There was also delicious food so basically it was PERFECT in every way.

Rawan and Tajer were already married and back from their honey moon when their reception was ready! I love this because they were so comfortable with each other and so sweet together, it was perfect.

Due to modesty and religious perspectives I am only sharing select portions from this BEAUTIFUL day!! Know they have many more stunning couples and girlfriend photos for their home collection.

I want everyone to know that my studio charges no additional fee to submit commercial release for religious reasons! ♥

I LOVE photographing weddings from all over the world. This is not my first wedding/reception with commercial submission request. Rawan gave me her blessing to use any photos of the men and photos of the women during times when they were co-mingled with the men guests!

In previous events, I only photographed the women’s reception as they never really joined into one ballroom like this. In my experience, it mostly depends on the logistics of the venue and preference of the families!

Rawan’s brother is part of a really talented drum and dance corps. They drummed Rawan & Tajer into the reception as well as performed near the end of the party! Those were some of my favorite photos for sure!

Rawan’s perfume pictured during getting ready was brought special all the way from Bethlehem. It has a plant element of “Musk” that’s hard to find over here. If I remember, I often tell my brides to pick a special perfume to wear during the month/months when they are first married so the smell can bring them back to those early days 50 years down the road. Rawan was all over that mission. I loved that detail.

Thank you so much for allowing me to use some of these photos, Rawan!! I am so excited to serve more couples from Jerusalem!

A little family Wellman Update dump. Morning! I’ve struggled coming back in to write lately. I abandoned my last post in tears over the current state of The Studio. My camera bag was stolen about a year ago. Everything I’ve photographed in 2024 has been on rented equipment. Being abandoned with the children with zero […]

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]
