College Club Seattle

Hannah and Ryan’s wedding at the College Club of Seattle was Fall of 2018. I’ve shot so many weddings the last few years there are several that never made it to the blog. I’m trying to go back and make sure all of my experience is recorded here this year so here we go!

Hannah and Ryan’s wedding was so memorable. Hannah and her family are from Switzerland. Ryan and his family from Canada. There were so many wedding traditions I’d never seen before!

A few new traditions added to my experience were the bride and groom walking down the isle together into the ceremony! Another, lots of traditional swiss wedding songs sang at the reception that involved taking shots throughout the song. Haha

We started the day at Hannah and Ryan’s home in Seattle where her maid of honor, Matilda, did her hair! Then, we went to a nearby salon for Hannah and her sister to get their makeup done. From there, we went back to Hannah’s house to put on her dress. After that, we went to the Washington Park Arboretum UW Botanic Gardens for bridal party and couple’s formals before heading to the wedding ceremony and reception.

The ceremony was held at the College Club Seattle. The managers granted Hannah and Ryan access to the dock below where we were able to take a few more couple’s formals and family photos!

After a beautiful ceremony, the room was transformed into a reception area. This party loved to dance!

I think I got some of my favorite candid photos throughout this reception. Allot of couples know they want fun in-the-moment candid’s during a reception. However, it takes a fun, silly, and engaged group to truly achieve this!

An official blog congratulations to Hannah & Ryan! I absolutely loved photographing your wedding and will cherish The Studio’s (& my) time with you forever!

We’ve done pretty well on our summer bucket list! Top of the kiddo to-do’s was a fire and smore’s. Not pictured: Pizza Sandwiches wrapped in foil. They weren’t a huge hit. This was our last family day at Am’s house in Rockport before she moved. I’m happy we were able to make some cozy memories […]

I google myself once in a while. Not always a great idea as you spend more and more time working with thousands of people over the years but I thought I’d give it a go today. I was pleasantly surprised to find my name included under Tacoma Top 10 Wedding Photographers. I was scrolling through […]

Sarah and Michael’s family hosted a cozy, close friends and family, Private Estate Wedding in Ronald, Washington! When I arrived, it had begun to rain. Luckily, the family was prepared with a covered event tent just in case. The rain hung around through the ceremony (with a little thunder, too!) and couple’s photos. Then, cleared […]
