Mom and Me Valentine’s Day Photos

Feb

16

Every year for the last three years I have arranged to do mom & me valentine’s day photos with the boys! Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday and I love taking time to express my love for FOUR major relationships in my life.

First, Myself.

First and foremost I make sure to express love for myself and my surrounding energy. I know the relationship I have with my own body, thoughts, and actions is the most important one in my life. I take some time to make sure I feel the love in my heart, on my own, first.

Second, CLYNN!

My relationship with Clynn is the next most important one in my life. (We get photos Sunday!) For Valentine’s Day, we went out to eat at a local casino and splurged on all the fancy seafood! We had such a blast walking around, chatting with strangers, and playing some black jack! He even managed to find a beautiful bouquet of roses late Valentine’s Day Night!

Third, MY BOYS.

Our tradition of mom and me photos on valentine’s day is finally becoming a recognizable one! James was so excited all morning to do photos for V-Day. We said, “Happy Valentine’s Day, I love you!” all day and gave so many extra snuggles. The boys (let’s be real; all of us) had frosted sugar cookies for breakfast and I used another one to bribe them during photos.

This year, we used a tripod and ten second timer for these cute images we’ll cherish forever.

FOURTH, I take some time to send love to my SJP couples!

This year, I started a 35% off Valentine’s Day Print Sale that I plan to do every year! In the future, it will end on the 14th, but since I got a late start this year, you have until the 19th to redeem your in-gallery coupon! ♥ HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY all of you beautiful newlyweds. You’re such a large part of my dreams coming true. I truly love each of you.

Sincerely, Jaclynn

We’ve done pretty well on our summer bucket list! Top of the kiddo to-do’s was a fire and smore’s. Not pictured: Pizza Sandwiches wrapped in foil. They weren’t a huge hit. This was our last family day at Am’s house in Rockport before she moved. I’m happy we were able to make some cozy memories […]

I google myself once in a while. Not always a great idea as you spend more and more time working with thousands of people over the years but I thought I’d give it a go today. I was pleasantly surprised to find my name included under Tacoma Top 10 Wedding Photographers. I was scrolling through […]

When Clynn and the boys and I were nomadic we spent two or three nights at Hotel Indigo Everett Waterfront and I had wanted to revisit ever since! About a year later, Am and I needed a little local get away after a crazy week it was an easy and incredibly satisfying go-to! As someone […]

Sarah and Michael’s family hosted a cozy, close friends and family, Private Estate Wedding in Ronald, Washington! When I arrived, it had begun to rain. Luckily, the family was prepared with a covered event tent just in case. The rain hung around through the ceremony (with a little thunder, too!) and couple’s photos. Then, cleared […]
