And we made it. Limbo, no more. Next Chapter Everett Wa.

I am sitting between the most glorious floor to ceiling windows soaking in the beginning of my next chapter of life. Downtown Everett is my home, now. I am going on walks, exploring all of the restaurants and pubs, taking the kids to the children’s museum, and LOVING being neighbors with one of my favorite Vegan Cafes. My apartment is stunning. More than I could have dreamt for myself. And I’m here. And it’s mine. I have a home.

I am unpacking for the first time in FOUR YEARS, you guys. This is insane. I am no longer a nomad. Though, parts of the lifestyle will be with me and my family forever.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who read the blog and kept tabs on my beautiful family through our wild adventures. We are all so ready to unpack and be home and start fresh!

Clynn achieved a very impressive position as a Project Manager for another glazing company. He’ll be living nearby for ease in coparenting and such. Very proud of him. We’re both cheering each other on and doing our best to find our new pace and dynamic as friends, lovers, family, etc.

I’m still working at the cafe, for now. Ready to double down on Studio work now that I have a place to leave out my laptop, print photos, and make progress again. I’m VERY excited! Now that I handle all of my own finances, I was floored to discover the studio is viewed as verifiable income source for me out on my own. I remember when I first started hearing things like “5 years” “7 years” for when banks and rentals and car dealerships would begin to take my small business seriously. We’re here, guys!

Also, that may have been true in 2015 when I started. The current economic state will begin to take your income seriously much sooner these days. Good news for small businesses and dedicated entrepreneurs!

So, cheers. THANK YOU for being here. I truly appreciate you more than you could ever know. It may sound pathetic, but I have cried, MANY TIMES, in gratitude for how many people come back to check in on me. How many clients STILL return for family photos, maternity photos, and exciting milestones.

The world of The Studio? It feels so hurt from the pandemic. So damaged and jaded. But it’s beautiful just the same. Still alive. Still a heartbeat. I am photographing weddings this summer. How. INCREDIBLE. is that?

Check back in, soon! Love ya!

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]

Hey, Mommas. Take a look at your babies now. Go ahead. Just take a quick peek. They grow. Today was a bit exhausting, wasn’t it? There were moments of things never being quite perfect. You tried your best and showed up in every way you could possibly think to and still, you fell short in […]
