Sons of Norway Poulsbo

We’re so excited to finally be sharing this Sons of Norway Poulsbo, Washington wedding with Amy and Rob!

This planning process was right smack in the middle, victim to all the pandemic restrictions. Amy & Rob rode the waves of “phases” so much more gracefully than I think they believe they did.

Many emails & texts began with: “It’s your favorite Covid-Bride, Again!” and it always made me smile and laugh a little before seeing what update we needed to role with next! From a vendor perspective, I’m so proud of these two. Time was of the essence for their union and I respect them and their journey so much.

Clynn was able to photograph Amy & Rob’s wedding with me. This is especially nice in the age of Covid-weddings. If Clynn doesn’t come…there isn’t technically anyone I can be within 6 feet of as people are grouped “by household”. This means eating, dancing, mingling…I was so happy to have Clynn there to capture alternate angles and rave over the most amazing wedding cake with!

Clynn even took one of Amy’s favorite photos of the day!

After many catering solution attempts, Amy decided to cater her own wedding! I have to say, I was nervous for her. However, Amy LOVES to cook and did an amazing job making a Greek Classic Spread with family recipes that had every one raving.

When Amy, Rob, and I are together, we love sharing our similar (if not same) passion for food and eating out! I still have to make it to McMenamins to try their hummus plate & Amy’s favorite wine.

Clynn and I hope to see Amy & Rob again, soon! I see movie and Amy-Catered Parties in our future! haha ♥ Thank you, both, for riding the Covid-Waves with me this wedding season. I wish no couple had to be on it with me, but I’m glad it was you two!

I can’t wait to see their Coral Silk with Silver Embossing Album project come to completion! Keep an eye out for a preview! I’m sure their album will get its own post, too.

CONGRATULATIONS, Amy & Rob!

They’re all taking great care of me, too! Working my booty offf. Trying to eat healthy and navigate adulting more […]

The in between

Life has been very romantic lately. Unknown and confusing and both flighty and grounded all at once. I remember being 14 and seeing my entire life by your side. Life is wild. I remember a water bottle and abandoned bleachers. I remember axe body spray and the way I had never been kissed. I know […]

Nirvana & I think of you

I hope you know better than to think I’d want to be anywhere but here right now. It was true on NYE and it’s true right now in my car outside the café. This may have felt seamless. Too seamless. Happenstance. But I’m here on purpose, now. I see your soft heart and I see […]

I hope you know better

You’ll walk through a glittering white veil, uncharacteristically soft compared to what you’ll find behind it. It has no need to keep you out. You quickly realize it’s the aura within that turns most around. The texture disorients. I’ll already be inside. What do you see? Upon first impression, you’re in a desert. Interesting considering […]
