I’m so happy Sokha, Mila, Liam came to The Studio for Christmas Pictures! This was their first set of family photos just them three and I am so honored she selected The Studio and me to capture them!
We started with traditional studio portraits on the green backdrop. From there, we moved to the very last of beautiful Washington fall colors on the trail right outside the studio!
The kiddos were perfect ages for studio photography and took direction so well. Capturing Sokha’s relationship with Mila and Liam was such a pleasure!
I try and do something unique for each session, even in minis with the same set up. For these two, I pulled out a red Christmas photo frame. They were so cute posing with it!
Sokha did wonderful selecting their outfits for this session! The texture in both her and Mila’s dress with Liam’s sweater all complimented each other well. I feel like the more texture you can get into a photo, the better!
My favorite part of this session was doing individual photos of each of the kids with their mom. Just Mila and Sokha then just Liam and Sokha. They’re personalities all really shone one on one with their Momma!
Thank you so much for coming to the studio, you three! It was an honor to document your family of three. It makes me happy thinking of these images in your home and I hope to see you all again, soon!
