Wild Hearts Farm Engagement Photos | Jenn & Guy

Jan

23

Jenn first reached out to me a handful of months before booking me for her’s and Guy’s Summer 2018 wedding! It was so fun chatting about their plans and getting to know each other for several months before meeting up for their engagement session this fall! It felt like meeting up with an old friend and I always love that!

They brought their dog that had been with them their entire relationship which is always welcome and so fun to have around for a few photos!

Guy is a car renovator/shower and the most exciting part?! He plans to have a display at their reception this summer and is currently working on a car he hopes to have done in time. I recently photographed a wedding where the groom brought his gravel racing car. It was so fun to have for a few bridal photos and I’m excited to have another go at it next summer too!

Jenn originally wanted to travel up into the mountains for an engagement shoot, but after learning the distance and commitment involved in such a session, we decided to go with Wild Hearts Farm in Tacoma, WA and I’m so happy we did!

Mt. Rainier photos are bound to be gorgeous but the farm is transitioning into Fall so so beautifully and as my shooting season draws to a brief rest, I am excited we were able to capture it!

I am so excited to be in a place where brides are finding me on their own rather than having to constantly reach out myself resulting in the best fits of brides who picked me for SJP and not because they just needed a wedding photographer and I happen to message them first. I call brides like Jenn “Organic Brides” because they happened naturally and effortlessly because we were a perfect fit for her wedding day and for no other reason. Here’s looking forward to a 2018 full of organic brides and couples just like Jenn & Guy because nothing beats the jamming that happens on a session when we’ve picked each other effortlessly. ♥

Enjoy some Fall Class & Seahawks Fun!

We’ve done pretty well on our summer bucket list! Top of the kiddo to-do’s was a fire and smore’s. Not pictured: Pizza Sandwiches wrapped in foil. They weren’t a huge hit. This was our last family day at Am’s house in Rockport before she moved. I’m happy we were able to make some cozy memories […]

I google myself once in a while. Not always a great idea as you spend more and more time working with thousands of people over the years but I thought I’d give it a go today. I was pleasantly surprised to find my name included under Tacoma Top 10 Wedding Photographers. I was scrolling through […]

When Clynn and the boys and I were nomadic we spent two or three nights at Hotel Indigo Everett Waterfront and I had wanted to revisit ever since! About a year later, Am and I needed a little local get away after a crazy week it was an easy and incredibly satisfying go-to! As someone […]

Sarah and Michael’s family hosted a cozy, close friends and family, Private Estate Wedding in Ronald, Washington! When I arrived, it had begun to rain. Luckily, the family was prepared with a covered event tent just in case. The rain hung around through the ceremony (with a little thunder, too!) and couple’s photos. Then, cleared […]
