“Cozy Room” Renton

“The Cozy Room” in Renton is SO CUTE!

There were a few hiccups with checking in. I didn’t find the Access code through the app. I only just now found it on the website under “Check-In instructions”. I had to wait for other guests to let me in! In the past when I’ve stayed at Airbnb‘s (about 6 or 7 now) I have been given the access code in a personal message from the host. This time, it was a little harder to find. However, now that I know to go look that way, I’m less likely to make that mistake again in the future!

There are a couple of sweet ladies about the same age or a little younger than me staying at the second room across the hall from mine. There is a house keeper who lives here who speaks next to no english but has been very welcoming!

The bathroom is shared with the other guest room. As a woman who grew up in a house with five other girls and a 3/4 bath, I’m not worried.

There was a baby here that made regular amounts of baby noise. I’m not sure if she/he lives here or is a guest. Either way, when you stay at a shared airbnb, bring headphones! I just plugged in my headphones and never heard the baby while working. 🙂 Also, no problem sleeping.

Since check in, yesterday afternoon, I have had zero direct disturbances, (ie someone knocking on my door). It was perfect for a work weekend!

The mini fridge is one of the most spacious ones I’ve ever seen! Much more accommodating than most hotel fridges. There is loose leaf organic mint tea, an electric hot water kettle, a tea steeper, and two cups. So happy I brought a couple coffees, but I love this touch!

Bring Coffee if you’re a coffee person!

I love small spaces with few distractions when I really need to buckle in and focus. I’m loving the simple “cozy” decor and the desk is gorgeous and inspiring!

I definitely recommend this room if you’re looking for a quiet night to work or just have some simple you time.

The one night stay was $62.18 after fees & tax.

If you stay here, don’t forget to message the host one hour before you arrive so she can let the house keeper know to expect you!

Check in at 2:00pm, Check out 11:00am the next day.
