Providence St. Peter Hospital Fresh 48 | Charlotte Renee

Taking a step back from the 40+ weddings I photographed in 2017, I’ve really had the chance to focus on the newborn side of my business here in 2018! I am so grateful for this because fresh 48’s are a fresh new love for SJP. Today as I prepared to write this blog post I scrolled through all of my fresh 48 sessions in the last few years and it made me so happy to know I had the opportunity to capture such a small window of time for these families.

Many of my Fresh 48’s were for babies going home to siblings. I think fresh 48’s are especially special for these little ones. It’s just these 1-3 days that they get to be the only focus of attention before entering sibling life full time.

This was session two of three for Shelbi, Aaron, and baby Charlotte in documenting her joining the Bryant family. View their whimsically stunning styled maternity session HERE!

Baby Charlotte is Aaron and Shelbi’s fourth baby. It’s amazing to me to see how every baby brings NEW wonder and love as if they were the first. This lead me to ponder on the uniqueness of every birth. Every Baby. Every Parent to child connection. I can definitely understand big families. ♥

When I arrived to Shelbi and Aaron’s room, Shelbi had a coworker there visiting! I love seeing when my clients have work friends close enough to visit them in the hospital or be at/in their weddings! We visited for a while then got to using what was left of the pretty soft window light.

I just have to take a minute in every one of Shelbi & Aaron’s posts to touch on how amazing they are as a couple. One only needs to be around them for half an hour to see what a strong, funny, tight knit couple they are! I hope they retire to run a marriage retreat when they’re the cutest old couple in Washington. Clynn and I would go in a heart beat!

Because I know you’ll all wonder, Charlotte’s adorable white feather wrap and headband is super affordable and by Galabloomer!

Congratulations, Shelbi and Aaron on your newest addition! I can’t wait to share Charlotte’s newborn session next!
