Tacoma Engagement Photographer | Betty & Sam

May

22

Betty and Sam made their way to my Spring Mini session day at Wild Hearts Farm for their engagement portraits! We had reserved the truck for the day but were lucky enough to have the pond, swing, and trailer scenes available to us as well! Every time I shoot at this location it looks different with multiple sets available to us. I am so excited to have found Jodall’s farm as a local resource for my couples. This was my first time shooting here with the pond full and canoe ready! I LOVED Betty’s quick and easy wardrobe changes that made the variety in her final gallery so vast in such a short amount of time. These two were so adventurous and up for anything! I am so excited to shoot their fall wedding at Grimstad Farms. This setting was so on theme and perfect for their country wedding venue.

When I first met with Betty and Sam for their initial consult, I knew we would be a great fit! Being their second weddings, they are both looking forward to a super laid back and fun wedding day! Betty is Mom to daughter Amelia and you all know I’m a sucker for mommy kiddo duos on a wedding day! I am so excited for Betty and Sam. We will be touring their wedding venue tomorrow. I can’t wait to get a feel for the lay of the land! A venue walk-through is such a fun and important time for me to spend with my couples as I listen to their ideas and pick up on the details they value most.

Enjoy these sweet Tacoma Engagement portraits and keep an eye out for their wedding blog in October!

I google myself once in a while. Not always a great idea as you spend more and more time working with thousands of people over the years but I thought I’d give it a go today. I was pleasantly surprised to find my name included under Tacoma Top 10 Wedding Photographers. I was scrolling through […]

When Clynn and the boys and I were nomadic we spent two or three nights at Hotel Indigo Everett Waterfront and I had wanted to revisit ever since! About a year later, Am and I needed a little local get away after a crazy week it was an easy and incredibly satisfying go-to! As someone […]

Sarah and Michael’s family hosted a cozy, close friends and family, Private Estate Wedding in Ronald, Washington! When I arrived, it had begun to rain. Luckily, the family was prepared with a covered event tent just in case. The rain hung around through the ceremony (with a little thunder, too!) and couple’s photos. Then, cleared […]
